Buying Solar Panels

To get an idea of how much solar panels cost, I have provided a comparison of 3 different brands of solar panels: Mitsubishi, General Electric, and Solar World.

MITSUBISHI:
These modules use 50 square poly-crystalline 156mm cells in series behind tempered glass with anodized aluminum frames, and Multi-Contact locking connector output cables. The 170-watt and larger modules are designed for use in high-voltage grid-tie applications, but can be used in large industrial and off-grid applications for battery charging with the appropriate MPPT charge controller.
Example:
180 Watt Solar Module, 24.4 Vmp, 7.45 Imp, 62.2" x 31.5" x 1.8" -- $835.00

GENERAL ELECTRIC:
All modules are designed and manufactured to meet international safety and performance certifications. The modules feature heavy duty anodized frames to give strength and convenient mounting access and weather-resistant junction boxes for easy and safe field interconnection.
Example:
200 Watt Solar Module, 26.3 Vmp, 7.6 Imp, 58.5" x 38.6" x 1.4" --- $1,045.00

SOLAR WORLD:
SolarWorld PV modules are designed for use in high-voltage grid-tie applications as well as in large industrial and off-grid applications for battery charging. This module uses 72 five-inch semi-square single-crystalline cells in series behind tempered glass.
Example:
175 Watt Solar Module, 35.8 Vmp, 4.98 Imp, 63.9" x 32.1' x 1.6" --- $805.00
